Animated preview of Fish Fountain prop - with custom water material. That was quite an achievement!

The Fish was sculpted separately so as to be used in other areas of the game, such as a Fish Market maybe?
Dining Set props. Every prop was configured to be tinted in-game.
Sofa set props, with damaged (low roots) variant. Everything was configured to be tinted in-game using RGB masking.
Living Room Set Props. The TV posed a unique and unexpected challenge with regards to achieving the realistic plastic reflectivity.
Vintage Toy Fridge Prop. This one was my favorite. I really enjoyed the challenge of making it realistic yet obviously "miniature".
Popsicle Park Bench Prop, with in-game tintable elements
Modular Playground Set. I am very happy with how well this came together.
Closeup of the Bouncy Animal Props for the Playground Set. The nuance of making them feel like they are miniature scale with a clay material was a wonderful challenge.
A breakout of the Modular Playground Set parts.
I had the chance to use the team's adorable pet photos and use them as caricatures in wall-art in-game! So much fun. The Wall treatments accepted in-game tinting as well.
A collection of Modular Wallpaper patterns, colors controllable through careful execution of an RGB mask.
Wallpaper Damage variants of the patterns for low roots interiors.
A look at the RGB masks and the damage variants. Making these materials so in-game modular was one of my favorite parts of the work!
Neighborhoods Environment Art Props - E-Line Media Internship
It is my honor to present the work I did for E-Line media during my 3-month internship! It was an incredible learning experience and so much fun to work on this adorable game. I have always been obsessed with "tiny things", and being tasked with making semi-realistic miniatures for this cozy city sim was definitely a dream job opportunity.
Under the wise guidance of our incredibly talented art lead, I learned so much about the nuance of texturing for Unreal Engine specifically, and with lots of mentorship from our tech artist, I learned how to not only make complex RGB masked materials, but we worked through how to make a fountain water material!!
My eternal gratitude for this experience and the team at E-Line for enabling such an opportunity.
